I don't think that most of the reviewers actually saw Home on the Range. There was absolutely nothing wrong with this animation. The plot was water tight, the humor was spot on and I didn't expect the little twist at the end. Viva Disney!

I thought this movie was very cute. Of course there were not more animals, as it was about cow rustling. Stands to reason there would mainly be cows. The music was clever and the yodeling was a joy to hear. It's not very common, so I thought it was great. I liked all the characters, and the casting was pretty good. It was definitely a new idea. I've never seen another movie where cows are leading the way. I think overall it is a fun family film, where I didn't have to worry about terrible language. That is usually my main concern. It's fun to watch and I had a couple of good guffaws.

This is another excellent Disney film. Classic animation leaving a real warmth to the characters and settings. Familiar storyline too of cattle rustlers and farm foreclosures and unlikely heroes rising up to save the day. We love the voices especially Roseanne as the brash, bold and over the top lead character. Cuba Gooding Jnr does a great job interjecting humour as a sidekick horse rivaling the role of Donkey by Eddie Murphy. The soundtrack is amazing too with leading Country starts leading their songwriting skills to memorable catchy tunes. It was surprising to read so many negative reviews and wonder how many of them are adults as opposed to kids whom Disney make these movies for in the first place. As a family we love this film and have watched it over a dozen times. Highly recommended.

Did I see the same film as these other reviewers? They are brutal! As awful as they thought the movie was I totally feel the antithesis. The animation was wonderful. The coloring alone was outstanding. The characters were angular and had a modern look but were still Disney classic animation. The juxtaposition of Roseanne Barr's voice and Judi Dench's voice was comic genius, the classic low brow vs high brow comedic construct.. And Jennifer Tilly as the hippy cow was the perfect foil. It had some wonderful character actors in the other roles. And some wonderful songs sung by K.D. Lang and Bonnie Raitt. I just think this movie is an unappreciated gem.

Cláudia Rodrigues is the voice of the character Maggie in the film Nem Que a Vaca Tussa in the Brazilian dubbing! Today I reviewed the movie and only now I realized that Claudia has no experience to dub, nor did it seem like she was dubbing Maggie the protagonist of the film and could have put her in the small character! I love the film (it is part of my childhood) but with that I had to diminish the star of the film for that. Film reviewed on January 18, 2021.

Wow, the official review is harsh! More like 3 stars for me. It's not a great film by any means, nor is it the worst. I'd say it's one of the studio's more underwhelming. The film does look solid, matted to 1.78:1 from the original DVD's 1.66:1 ratio, until you look at the issues the reviewer mentioned. The audio is pretty good too. Most of the extras have been ported from the DVD now on upgrade Upscaled 4K and Dolby Vision coming soon on Disney 4k ultra hd release may 2021

Oh my god people are complaining of this movie non stop it makes me annoyed it was from Beauty And The Beast And The Little Mermaid even though i like these 2 movies and even Estelle Harris the voice of Mrs Potato Head From Toy Story was also there, guys I also like Toy Story. It was from the same year that The Incredibles came out.
