Boringgggggg... My goodness so boring 😴😴
The Willoughbys mostly received positive reviews from critics but I, for one, didn't quite liked this animation from Bron Animation. The plot was good though but there was more of chaos rather than fun. The Willoughbys could have been much better just like the previous year released Netflix original 'Claus', but it isn't My Rating : 2/5
When I saw the poster of the film, I thought that it would be a copy of Addams Family. I was wrong. Fistly, the plot is interesting, I don't read the original book, so I don't have thing to compare with film. It has moral that the family is the most important thing in life. Secondly, I like the humour of film, sometimes it has adult meaning. Thirdly, the animation itself looks wonderful. So, it's good animation for all afes. P.S. The best character is the cat.
During this quarantine period, there are a limited number of new releases for entire family to see. There is Trolls: World Tour, and there's this. Between the two, the Willoughbys stood out with its oddball humor, relatable characters and (kinda) positive message.
I went into it thinking it would be your average kids movie, but I was wrong, the animation is good, and it reminds me of cloudy with a chance of meatballs, the humour is alright, the voice acting is really good as aspected, the story is pretty rushed, and it would've been a lot better if they would have made it a little longer, and improvement I would make is that I would have made them run away from the child protection services for more than 20 minutes, but it still is a good animated movie
Truly one of the best animations I have ever seen. Just watched it with my sister and her little daughter and we adored it. We laughed a lot, we cried a bit as well. Really amazing history about the power of love between siblings. Would recommend to anyone.
