Well-meaning but poorly executed made for television movie about an important topic: The overlooked numbers and less-publicized stories of missing black females. Naturi Naughton and. Tanyell Wavers are fine in the lead roles as a student advisor working at a HBCU and troubled student respectively. Mark Hood is appropriately creepy as the abductor who plans to traffic the student. There are several characters who turn out to be throw-aways, in that they exist simply to advance the plot. These include Fee Fee, Alex, Buddy Pete and Pinky. The troubled student seems a bit too smart to be caught up in getting abducted like this in the manner in which it occurred. The setting of a trailer park for trafficking is just too ridiculous to be believable. The script lacks imagination and reads like a public service announcement at times, and the pacing is quite slow. Still watchable. 2 of 4 stars. **
