In the opening scene Denise Richards proposes to Patrick Muldoon. A wedding is set. Meanwhile the mailman and his friend plan to rob the homes while everyone is at the church. The dogs have the mental talking like Bruce Willis in "Look Who's Talking." They also talk to each other and can draw up maps. They know the bad guys are going to rob the neighborhood so they set up booby traps and defend the place like "Home Alone" except it is for dogs. Denise Richards has a very smooth, Botox looking stiff face. She claims she tried it once and didn't like it. The story was very juvenile. I am not sure what age group this film is for. The acting was very ham, especially the bad guys who extended their evil laugh and few times too many. Guide: No swearing sex or nudity other than finding out Houdini is a boy dog.
