Another day and another Reel One Entertainment TV movie which was a bit of ruined by variuous technical issues. Shockingly there is no loud background music when cast talk nor there is poor audio recording. I don't know why because I never saw this in any previous ROE TV movie, but the whole film looks like it was applied some weird filter. I watched a trailer after watching the movie, too, which you shouldn't if you plan to watch movie as it shows everything like every other ROE trailer, and it suffers from the same issue. Maybe there was a problem when it was filmed because almost whole movie has an overcast sky so they had to apply filter. I don't know for sure but it's weird and look a bit of more cinematic like it was shot for cinema. The big negative for this movie are makeups which is nothing new in ROE TV movies, but this time it's not an issue on female cast, but on male. Specifically, Darein Martin and Mark Humphrey, who played his dad. In every scene in the movie Mark Humphrey's face looked like an orange man. Really bad. Darein Martin, the lead, in the most scenes has reddish lipstick applied and it was disgusting how badly was done. I have no overall issues with the cast, acting, writing and directing but there is nothing extraordinary, too. But I have one big issue with a production, and that combined with with the terrible makeups is the reason for 5*. Simple question for production - why Rhonda Dent isn't listed in the closing credits as a cast member? I watched her in many other movies, and when I was reading closing credits I couldn't believe that she wasn't listed. She had more on screen time and lines than every cast member listed after Ashley Ross! How's that even possible? No way somebody forgot to list her.
