In 1999, a provincial bandit nicknamed Vorkuta goes to jail. In prison, he loses sleep and after a couple of weeks sees his conscience in the image of a man, who explains to the hero that as long as he is bad, he will not sleep. After 25 years, the bandit is released, where he will have to make amends to those whose lives he ruined. His former accomplices, Rafinad and Pyotr, will help him in this.
