My favorite part of this film was the scene where one of the characters becomes a teapot and all the kids are trying out different potions to help make them human again. I thought that was very funny, creative and unexpected. There are actually a lot of scenes in this film that are completely unexpected and it holds your interest because you end up wondering how is this going to play out. I also loved the genealogy aspect of the storyline where a single photo can unravel new insights and endless questions. The only way the main character was going to ever understand her current situation was to understand the past.
A very interesting movie because it's so uninteresting. The story is about a girl who runs around the movie studio with the stubs of an old photo. Of course, this approach significantly reduced the budget ... however, I could not understand what the purpose of the film was and what the author wanted to say, and who was this girl anyway? I only watched it because Jean Reno was in the cast.
I mean in all honesty it is not the best but it isn't half bad either and it's definitely worth the watch. Once this movie gets to it and it does have a bit of a slow start but once you get to the plot, it really begins to all unfold in a timely manner and all the pieces begin to come together there's some great shots some really good cinematic storyline, and the film in its entirety really gets the message across. So those that have the type of interest in the subject you should definitely take a look at it and see how it affects you. I mean I would definitely recommend this film to you definitely keep an open mind and when it comes to independent filmmaking, you have to keep in mind that the directors or Director has a vision and you have to try to get in their shoes to have the full understanding.
It is probably supposed to be something like Alice in the wonderland... but it wasnt. Such a great combine: Ukraine, Belgium, France. Even a Jean Reno showed up but probably the idea was not good at all? I was bored from the very beginning and tried to keep watching... but no, it's really boring story of one girl, so unique girl...
