Re: Zero - Starting Life in Another World S1-S4

this anime would have been a huge success if the mc was constructed in a way that he actually LEARNS from his ability and not just get overwhelmed by emotions, but uses his ability to gain knowledge and potentially becomes more strategic and in control of the flow, Instead of just falling victim to same mistake and overcoming challenges by luck, multiple trials or with help of others. It is only expected if someone with return by death ability becomes cold and calculated having experienced death and worse situation over and over again. But this anime ruined the chance by continually making the mc non-learning, impulsive and controlled by emotions, weak even with his broken ability which could've have been the best motivation to grow stronger. Apart from few party tricks, luck, help from allies, the character lack strength through learning and experience, which makes the character development bad.....really a shame.
