I started this drama not expecting much and in some ways it exceeded my expectations while in others, it was just as expected. The characters are much better written than I expected, they all have their own thing going on rather than just being present for comedic purposes. This is also one of the few dramas in which I questioned whether or not the FL and ML would actually get together; usually the main pair's relationship trajectory is quite predictable and even when they have an issue, you know it's going to be resolved soon. This drama gave no such certainty. As for problems, it had the typical sageuk drama ones: the Mary Sue female lead who is all-capable, more intelligent than everyone else and never suffers the consequences of her actions. All the characters depend entirely on her to plan their moves and when she's not around, they literally can't do anything. There are also a few unnecessary plotlines that last several episodes added just to lengthen the drama, as usual. 8/10.
