Made me laugh more than many comedy films!! 3/10 for the laughs
Ok first of all- I agree that most of the characters were too dumb to survive- without giving anything away I will say it was honestly a good movie. It had a lot of elements of different genres which I liked. I laughed quite a few times, because some of the scenes were a little extra- but overall I enjoyed the movie. And there's a sequel!! The sequel is honestly AMAZING so I have no idea how it is not on IMDB yet.
The movie is'nt as half as bad as everybody makes it out to be .It had some good bits in it .I kind of figured who the killer was about half way thru the movie though a bit predictable .The directors should have recast the main killer role.He was'nt one bit scary .He looked liked somebodies grandfather ,those 2 girls could have taken him out quite easily. They should have cast Kane Hodder in the role instead or get someone who looks more intimidating for petes sake.As for the lead character ,i just found her annoyingly dumb and was wishing for her to get chopped up by the killer.
Absolutely the worst NON scary, scary movie I have ever seen. The image on the cover doesn't connect to the actual movie at all. Who ever came up with this, should find a new career. It was horrible.
It was slow moving to start and I almost switched it off, but it picked up in the second half. They were totally cashing in on The Nun from the Conjuring series, But if you're into suspense and creepy nuns, it's entertaining. Seems they borrowed a bit from Psycho as well. There was one theme that played throughout the movie that was quite hard to believe, but all in all if you can get through the first half, it's entertaining and has a twist at the end.
I've seen a large number of horror films in my career, but this one is just... Just... I really don't know what to say; is there really a word to describe this "video"? I mean, the scene when Aesha talks to the so called "Nun" behind the closed door is the most boring part I've ever seen. It's like they talking about weather or staff like that. But, that's not all! This part is fifteen minutes long... I lose 55 minutes watching this "video; I'm not interesting how the end looks like and I'm so sorry for the directors and actors.
A whole hour of this film is a girl not calling the cops on a weirdo in a nun costume. A whole hour of her talking to this nun through a door when she can clearly take a step to the right and see said nun standing there but instead likes to talk to the wooden door.
